The Information Access Programs Directorate (A/SKS/IAP), formerly Information Programs and Services (A/GIS/IPS), administers the Department's Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), records management, classification, declassification, and public access programs. IAP is the primary point of contact for anyone seeking access to U.S. Department of State records.

3. Date of contact with the FRSC

4. Nature of your complaint

Complaints should be limited to issues regarding the processing of requests. If you were denied access to records, refused expedited treatment or otherwise provided with an adverse response, please follow the guidelines outlined on the Appeals page.
