Improving FOIA Administration under E.O. 13392
On December 14, 2005 President George W. Bush issued Executive Order 13392, part of which required each agency to provide a plan for improving the implementation of the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA). The Department of State’s plan, entitled “Review of Department FOIA Operations and Plan for Improvement” lists a number of milestones for improving the Department’s FOIA operations.
